Parish Priest: Fr. Duncan M Adamson
Parish Administrator: Nicola Burke
Fr. Duncan writes: Dear Parishioners, today we celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent, ‘Gaudete’ Sunday. This name comes from the first word of the Entry Antiphon for today’s Mass ‘Rejoice’. In our ordinary lives anticipating an event can bring as much joy as the event itself. So it is with the season of Advent. We know that the Son of God was born once long ago. And we prepare, once again, to celebrate that event with rejoicing. As we continue our preparation by reflecting deeply on the Incarnation, Jesus truly God truly Man, the Word made flesh, let us pray that the world may recognise Jesus Christ as the Holy One of God.Please take our Christmas Message with you today. This card comes to you and your family with prayers and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. The card contains full details of the Christmas and New Year Services here in our church. Please keep it handy for reference during the Christmas Season. ____________________________________________________________________________
